Welcome to QuoteBucket!

QuoteBucket enables you to browse through a collection of user submitted quotes from IRC and other IM services around the internet in a nice sleek web-based view, This is the place to come if you want to fill up your time by browsing and adding hilarious or important logs.
Browse away to your amusement by using the navigation above, Don't know where to start? Have a look at the latest quotes.

You can rate quotes that you simply love by clicking on the '+' link above a quote, If you dislike a quote you can simply click on the '-' link, And if you really like a quote you can spread the word on Digg by clicking on the 'QDigg' link above a quote, If you prefer another bookmark/networking site then simply click on 'QShare' which will open up a box with a large list of sites you can submit the quote to.

Feel free to submit quotes to the database yourself, you're free to add any amount you wish. If you're worried about having messy timestamps or characters you can click on the 'Strip it!' button on the Submission page. Once you submit your quotes they will be reviewed within 24 hours. and when they're accepted they will be shown on our quote database for public viewing.

You can read and search for quotes on IRC, simply join us on EScriptIRC and use the eggdrop that is setup in the main channel, or if you have your own eggdrop then feel free to load the QdbS tcl (This tcl can be found here), which is preconfigured for you. Other tools.

The small bit...

All quotes submitted to the database are owned by the submitters.
We're not responsible if any of our quotes seem inappropriate to you, Quotebucket is intended for an audience of 16 and over as some quotes may have racism, swearing, or even sexual references.
Quotes that are added are always reviewed and accepted/denied into the database within 24 hours. Mostly all quotes that are submitted are accepted unless they're pointless (Eg: <DeathAdder> Hi), if they contain unwanted urls (also known as spam), or if the submitter hasn't clicked on the 'Strip it!' button to remove timestamps and bad characters.
If we think non-stripped quotes are good, we'll resubmit them ourselfs. You can find more information on our FAQ and Privacy pages.
If you have any concerns; you can contact: webmaster@quotebucket.org.
